1. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files written to your device by a site. This beta currently writes no first-party or third-party HTTP cookies. It uses localStorage, browser storage with a similar function, only to remember your privacy decision.

3. Your choices
Optional purposes are switched off by default. On your first visit you can refuse optional categories, configure them one by one, or accept them. Refusing does not limit the content. The decision can be changed at any time.
4. How blocking works
Future scripts marked functional, analytics or marketing stay inert until there is consent for their category. On withdrawal, the site removes optional loaders and emits an event so the integration stops collecting. Since a script that has already run cannot be “un-run”, any future provider must also offer a compatible opt-out and deletion routine.
6. Global signals and rules
Under the European ePrivacy and UK PECR rules, non-essential storage or access on the device requires clear information and active consent where those norms apply. That is why every optional category starts switched off, and refusing is as easy as accepting.
The system recognises Global Privacy Control (GPC). When the browser sends that signal, marketing stays switched off even if “Accept” is selected. The current site neither sells nor shares data for advertising; the control also anticipates the opt-out of sale or sharing set out by the CCPA/CPRA, should it ever apply.
Canada's PIPEDA requires an understandable purpose and meaningful choice where applicable. Those principles also guide the short texts, the per-category control and withdrawal.
7. Changes to the inventory
Adding a provider, purpose or technology requires updating this table and the consent version. A new version invalidates the old choice and asks for a decision again. Questions: contactmestrelabs@gmail.com.
